The Qurans affairs department of the General Presidency of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has replaced the copies, Tawasul website reported.
It has also placed Quran copies in braille on the shelves in prayer halls of the mosque.
Pilgrims and worshippers also have access to translations of the Quran in different languages including English, Urdu and Indonesian.
The copies have been printed at the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran, which is located in the holy city of Medina.
The General Presidency of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, according to its website, aims to facilitate the worshipers to perform the religious worship and the rites in a secure and pure environment.
Hajj begins on the 8th of the l Hirji month of Dhul Hijjah and lasts until the 13th of Dhul Hijjah. This year, Hajj is taking place between June 26 and July 1.
